First Group Meeting

Today Trey, Juan and myself went over the tool kit. We completed page 4 and 8. Kim had emailed Mr. Nase regarding times that we could meet up with him to discuss how much food is being thrown away at the Upper Deck. We have yet to receive an email back, but we are hopeful that we will get back to us soon.

Here is the email that Kim sent to Mr. Nase.

Hello Mr. Nase,
My name is Kym Swanger, and I'm a shift supervisor at the Upper Deck. I am also in a group with 3 others for my Design for Social Equity class. We were interested in possibly teaming up with the Campus Cupboard to donate some food from the Upper Deck for their donations on Fridays that is close to expiration and would otherwise be thrown out. We were interested in possibly meeting up sometime tomorrow between 9-11:30, to discuss some of the restrictions or limitations in donating food from the Upper Deck, as we were given that time off from class, or another time if that doesn't work.
